Bargain Toyota Hiace LH85 "mini" camper van This type of camper is a traditional looking camper, built on a LH85 Hiace chassis.
The LH85 is normally smaller than the more common LH113 camper van, but because of the expanded living space at the back, it is actually very spacious!
They also have the advantage of having permanent 4x4 4 wheel drive and an economical 2.4 litre engine (versus the 2.8 in the LH113v).
Also a lot of them come with 5 speed manual gearbox. I personally prefer automatic for a Camper as its less of a chore driving long distances or when driving abroad.
